Dieco die springs are precision products
manufactured on special equipment and
under carefully controlled processes.
All manufacturing steps are conducted
under rigid quality control, inspection
and testing to ensure long service
life.
Raymond die
springs feature valve quality Chrome
Silicon alloy wire. And that's
important if you're still using
chrome vanadium alloy springs.
With Chrome Sillicon die springs,
you get greater tensile strength
and higher maximum service temperatures.
Which means, in maximum service
temperatures to 450¾ F,
there is less load loss. The higher
tensile strength translates to
increased cycle life over die springs
from other alloys.

Materials. Dieco
die springs add life to your dies because
they are made of high tensile strength
chromium alloy steels. They withstand the
heavy demands of shock loading and constant
high speed deflections. In addition, this
tough alloy enables secondary operations,
such as penning, to give Dieco die springs
and extra performance margin. Under all
stress/ heat conditions, Dieco die springs
provide significantly greater resistance
to load loss that springs made of carbon
steel.
Colors. Every
Dieco die spring is color coded by work range,
to simplify selection specification and in
plant identification.
Shape. The round
cornered rectangular configuration of Dieco
die springs works harder, with less wasted
energy, than round or square wire configurations.
This optimum cross-section minimizes stress
concentration and protects against fracturing
caused by stress build-up at sharp edges. |
